I received an email requesting to change my password. It reads as follows:

Someone has requested a password reset for the following account:

    Site Name: Thinking on Scripture

    Username: thinkingonscripture

If this was a mistake, ignore this email and nothing will happen.

To reset your password, visit the following address:

This password reset request originated from the IP address 113.111.83.8

Should I be concerned? Or just ignore it? My password is strong, and I have twos-step verification. Please advise.

I received the exact same thing for my website thewindowshade.com

What is the course of action? Do we ignore it?

I received the same. Would love to know what’s going on with this and how to prevent losing my account to whomever this is!

    Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out, this email is sent if a password change is requested. All that is required to request a password change is the email address of an account. This does not mean that your account is compromised in any way.

If you are concerned about your account security, you can check if your information was compromised in a hack by checking a tool like Have I Been Pwned. You can also enable two-step authentication for your account:
