Request to delete a site

    It has been brought to our attention that there is a site that is not an official website for the university I work for. It is clear that the website is not been used anymore. We have tried to contact the email address attached to the website but have had no reply. How do we request the removal of the website by WordPress? Thank you.

    You’ve posted to the support forums for sites hosted on the WordPressdotcom platform which is separate from the open source WordPress software. To better understand the differences: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    Without knowing the address of the site, we cannot give you an accurate reply. Once we know that site’s address, we’ll be able to move forward.
