Reserved blog?

  Hi, I just signed up and I’m trying to set up a blog (cutberto.wordpress.com) but I’m getting and error message, “Sorry, that site is reserved!”.

  Is it possible to get this blog?

  The person who registered the identical matching username account has the blog reserved for their use. This is don’e automatically and one needs Staff help to secure the reserved blog. If and only if you have registered the identical matching username then you email (without the spaces) support @ wordpress.com to secure the blog.

  Thanks for your prompt response.

  To be honest, I don’t remember if I set up that username. I did play with wordpress long ago, but I don’t think I’m using the email I used to sign up any more and, to be honest, I don’t remember which username I used (but most likely it was cutberto). Is there any way of contacting that member to see if he’s someone else or if it’s me?

  That account has been around since 2009 – to have any chance of getting a blog with that name you need to have access to the email that was used to start that account or the current email of that account
