Reset DNS configuration so that reset password email goes out
-
Over the weekend I created a blog on wordpress.com. I had copied some pages from another wordpress.com blog I have and got it looking just like I wanted. I then purchased a domain and had it configured to work with {newblog}.wordpress.com.
Unfortunately, I did not add the necessary MX records, and had godaddy update the DNS servers to ns1.wordpress.com, etc.. Later, when I was done, I managed to mistype my password in such a way that I could no longer log in. When trying to reset my password, having the confirmation email sent to info@{newblog}.com, no email would arrive from wordpress.com, since there were no MX records in the DNS configuration I had done.
I sent a note to The Staff a few hours ago, but haven’t heard back yet .. not sure what their turn-around time is or if they even got the note.
Long story short, I need to reset {newblog}.wordpress.com? Or maybe add it as one of the blogs to {otherblog}.wordpress.com? Or some other better idea? Is there something I can do?
Thank you,

There is a small staff and many blogs to help – it can take a while (I had a few 18 hour time frames when I had some domain mapping questions) – I have flagged this for staff attention as they do monitor the forums.
