Reset password redirects to a log in screen not the password reset

  I cant change my password and I know my password but it isn’t working. When I try and change it I get an email saying reset password, but when I click that I get a log in screen. I’m not getting the change password screen shown in the guide.

  I assume you’re not speaking of the password for this WordPress.com account, as you can simply change that from your account settings at https://wordpress.com/me/security/

  What is the username of the account and the URL of the site you’re trying to access?
