Resetting blog site

    I would just like to start my blog (http://uoftbioethicssociety.wordpress.com) over again, utilizing the same website name that it currently has. I have been trying to do this for several hours and I am getting very frustrated now. Please assist and do not just send me the ‘how to empty a site’ link.

    Hi there,

    You only have a few pages on your site. You should be able to delete those very quickly from My Site ->Pages.

    I can also empty your site for you, but if I run our empty site process it cannot be reversed and there is no way to restore the content again, so I need your specific confirmation before I can do that.

    But that will also just delete any content on your site. It will not reset your site’s setting to default, nor will it remove any customizations you’ve already made to your themes. There is no way to do that, though we can empty your site and then set it up with the default content for your theme if you prefer.
