Resetting theme settings?

  Hello! Is it possible to completely reset the theme settings without losing blog posts? I tried changing my theme, but the theme looks the same as my old one! I would like to completely start my theme over, but can’t find a way to do that.

  For additional context – I went to my host (Bluehost) to do this, and they sent me here to WordPress.

  I think Bluehost’s support probably wanted to send you to https://wordpress.org/support/forums/. Here, on these forums, we can only help with sites hosted on our (WordPress.com) servers.

  In general, when you activate a new theme, you will need to set it up to resemble the demo site. For instance, on WordPress.com, when opening any theme’s overview, you’ll see information on how the demo page is set up, like here:

  https://wordpress.com/theme/hever.

  Things do not work the same way on WordPress.org, though, so if you still need help, I’d suggest posting to that other forum.
