Responsive theme Pages widget – in the Gallery Area- where is the Gallery?

  I am using responsive theme. There is a sidebar area on the right that says

  Gallery
  Widget area on single image page
  Pages: Site Map

  But when I go the the Page attributes there is not a Gallery option.
  How do I make the Pages widget work so it can be site map on the Site Map page?

  I am building this for a charity and they are making me nuts about this page. This is not a problem I have ever encountered in any theme.

  Hi there, the gallery sidebar widget area “only appears on image attachment pages,” according to the Responsive theme information page.

  I want to have a site map page, but I don’t want the widget on the other pages. The Gallery “sidebar” enables you to add widgets but I have no idea how to make it show up? Thanks again.

  I don’t think the Gallery widget is what you want here.

  Is it that you want to link to the Site Map page from a link in the sidebar on only certain pages? You could try a plain Text Widget with a link to the site map, and use the widget visibility options to have the widget only displayed on certain pages.

  Or are you trying to add a specific widget only to the site map page? You can still use the widget visibility options to achieve that.
