Rest API Returning Unknown User Error

  When trying to commit an action using the rest API it returns [invalid_username]

  I do have a screenshot of the error , but it seems to be a user authentication error , which is weird because it’s the only available user on the site

  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  The only sites I see on your @kyleastranger WordPress.com account when I check on our end are listed here:

  • expdesigns883463318.wordpress.com

  However, that site seems to be unused and has had no activity in our server logs for several years. Is it possible you created your site under a different login that we are not able to see?  What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

  Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.
