Restoration of data after expiration of premium account

    Dear WordPress,

    my premium account subscription expired about half a year ago since I decided to try and manage my webpage (zdeneklorenz.cz) under my own domain. However, I wasn’t able to transfer the details of customization on time and, since I had a premium theme (Twotone), everything changed to some default setting. Currently, I own the stand-alone Twotone theme and want to restore the original setting here at wordpress.com so that I can recreate it on the new wordpress.org webpage. It would be of an immense help if you could guide me through the process.

    Hi ZL,

    Ah okay. So you would have to buy TwoTone here to get it working on our servers, but what if you were to just export your content to the new site, then apply the theme you have there, rather than buying it for both instances?

    If that will work, these steps should help:

    You’ll export the content, import it there, then apply and configure the theme after making sure all of your images are in place.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your response. I bought it directly from Twotone webpage and have it in .zip package. I downloaded all the content beforehand and installed it together with the theme on my new wordpress.org domain http://www.zdeneklorenz.cz . Most of the stuff transferred quite successfully, apart from videos, some links and details related to customization of the original wordpress.com webpage. Therefore it would be of an immense help if I could have a look how exactly was it set up before it got cancelled and overwritten by the default theme/setting. Of course, I can try and work with what I remember but it already costed me quite some time to set it up under your domain. So please, let me know if there is another way around it.

    Thanks for your suggestion, but from some reason there are just very few records for my site which unfortunately don’t really change much…
