restore a deleted domain

  I have deleted a site in May. (desampanpuurs.wordpress.com)
  I thought I could re-use the domain after it was deleted. However, it seems that the domain is not released until today.
  Is it possible to restore the domain to my account so that I can re-use it? The pages are not important because I have backed up and they can be restored.

  Correct account: Yes

  A deleted wordpress.com subdomain can only be restored within 30 days after deletion. Once 30 days passed, all content gets purged from our servers and the domain gets locked forever. This was clearly stated when you deleted that domain, you even had to confirm it.

  The main reason is to avoid confusion and impersonation.
