Now i need to retrieve some articles from sql backup.
I made a site moonnlight4.wordpress.com But it dont have any phpmyadmin option.
Even” import” option in admin panel only accepts wxr file for wordpress.
So how can i restore my backup??I dont want to pay for domain and hosting just to retrieve some articles :(

Install WordPress.org software locally on your computer, get the sql backup into it, then create an XML export file that you can import to your WP.com blog.

I have done all the procedures and successfully imported my sql backup file BUT now when i open site it gives me error “HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found.”

That’s not a problem. It just means your site doesn’t have any content. Do the import again, since it didn’t seem to take the first time.

We can’t help you with THAT install. Our responsibilities begin when you get the import in your WP.com blog. I suggest you google for suggestions for help with that.
