Restore my domain through wordpress

    Hi, I’d like to restore my custom domain (thepostcool.com). In order to do that, do I now have to have an upgraded plan? Or can I purchase annually for $18 like before?

    Hi there,

    We no longer sell domains as individual upgrades, so to add a new domain to your site you’ll need to buy one of our plans at My Site ->Plans.

    However, it looks like this domain was registered through Network Solutions on 10 April 2017 after you’d let it expire with us last year, meaning someone else currently owns it. It also looks like the new owner has let the domain expire, and it’s currently in redemption at Network Solutions, and you won’t be able to register it with us until it completes the redemption period and is released for use again.

    As you’ll see from that link, it’s also possible to put the domain on back-order at the current registrar. If someone already has the domain on back-order, they will get it the moment it completes redemption, so there is a very real chance that you won’t be able to use that domain again.
