Restore old WordPress

  Hi
  I have a wordpress on old domain
  but the domain expire last year.

  Now i have a new domain and want to restore the old wordpress on the new domain
  how?

  Hello again, Since your account here is less than a day old, it seems like your WP site was not hosted here at WordPressdotcom unless it was under a different username account.

  WordPress comes in 2 flavors: the fully hosted WordPressdotcom (where we are ) and the open source WP (org) project at https://wordpress.org This support guide explains some of the differences between them: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You can find all the support information for sites using the WP (org) software at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page and at https://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you can register one on that page.

  You can also check with your former web hosting provider for assistance. We don’t have access to standalone WP installs on other providers nor do we keep backup copies here of self-hosted WP installs.

  If you are wanting to use your new domain name with WordPressdotcom, it requires a paid upgrade plan in order to map the domain, but first you need to register for a WordPressdotcom site. Here’s more about our upgrade plans and domain mapping:
