restoring my site

    used to own this site: name of domain, which was created on a WordPress platform. The domain was hosted by Bluehost. Unfortunately, it wasn’t renewed on Blueshost on time, since both my email and my credit card were changed at the same time. i asked Bluehost if I can renew the domain, and if I’ll still have the site I’ve created on WordPress. they told me that the domain is not expired., but the hosting account did. Bluehost don’t have a
    backup for my account. Is it still exisit at WordPress? Is there a way to restore my site?

    Hi –

    Your site was self hosted. That means you were using the open source, WordPress installation rather than our managed environment at WordPress.com.

    You’ll need to go to https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ for help with that version of WordPress.

    Unfortunately, with out a back up from the host, or the use of a security plugin that would hold on to a back up, you might be out of luck.
