Resurect lapsed blog

  We used to have a wordpress hosted blog called ‘thetravellingrawsthornes’ but it lapsed a few years ago. Is it possible to resurrct it and retrieve the various blogs?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello again,

  As it appears your domain has expired, you’ll want to immediately repurchase the domain. However, that doesn’t let me know if your site was hosted here on WordPressdotcom or hosted with a different web hosting provider.

  If it was hosted here on WordPressdotcom, the content would still be available under its base .wordpress.com address. You would only need to purchase an upgrade plan and map your domain to that WordPressdotcom site to have it up and running again.

  If your site was using the open source WordPress software, you’d need to contact your previous web hosting provider or backup service (like Vaultpress/Jetpack) to see if they had any backups of your site. We won’t have those here on WordPressdotcom.

  @justjennifer is correct. Unless the site is under a different WordPress.com account than the one you are contacting us from, it looks like you’ll need to reach out to your hosting provider to see if there are backups to your site that you can retrieve.
