Resurrection of my blog/private posts

    I am looking to resume posting on my blog after several years, but was wondering if there is a way to make it ‘private’ so that only people that I have invited can log in and view new posts if I designate them as private. I have heard you can do that using plugins, but wasn’t sure of how that works. I am also looking to upgrade to a paid site, would that help in the quest to not blather my posts across the internet if I choose?

    Hi there,

    Yes, you can set individual pages or blog posts to be “private” so that only someone with login access to the site can view them.

    You can also set a password for pages so that viewers do not need to create and log in to their WordPress.com account. Instead, they would just need to enter the password for the page, which is something you could share with them via email or some other messaging system.
