Retaining domain name of deleted site

  Hello!

  I had two wordpress sites: (i) thursdayswithjerry.wordpress.com, and (ii) thursdayswithjerrycom.wordpress.com.

  I had deleted the first site permanently, as I had intended to reuse the domain name for my second site. However, I then realized that I can’t reuse the domain name since it is permanently deleted along with the site.

  Would it possible to help me recover the domain name (thursdayswithjerry.wordpress.com)?
