Retaining post links after upgrading to Premium

  Hey guys, quick query. Considering upgrading my plan from free to premium (which would involve changing the URL to my site, removing the .wordpress suffix) and I just wondered whether any links to my posts that may exist out there will still work or not? If not, is there any way of resolving this?

  Hi there,

  When you add a custom domain the free WordPress.com address will still exist behind the scenes, and any links you shared with that free address will still work – we automatically redirect those to the custom domain you add.
