retired theme Ambiru updated?
-
The theme Ambiru, which I chose for my blog urbanplanetcomix.com, is now declared as “retired”. I’d like to know whether this theme will be updated / adapted to upcoming new versions of wordpress nonetheless? Will it be possible for me to continue using this theme, or will it loose its functionality?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Since you are already using the Ambiru theme on your blog, you’re welcome to keep using it there. :) It won’t stop working on your blog. There won’t be many updates to the theme, but if there are major bugs our team will certainly look into them.
Please let me know if you have any other questions about that.

Thank you!
I noticed that images posted in the Ambiru-theme display just fine in mozilla firefox, but they appear with a colored frame on internet explorer – at least in normal posts (not in the “about”-section). If there is a way to change that, I’d be happy to know how. -
Hi there,
This border appears in Internet Explorer because those images are also links, and Internet Explorer adds a border around linked images. You may be able to fix this in the Image Settings from within your posts.
When you insert or edit an image in your post, you can click on the Advanced Settings tab for that image. In the Styles box, add the style code “border: 0;” (without quotation marks) and then save your changes. This should remove any borders that the browser tries to add to your image. :)
