  I am retiring from real estate and would like to retool my site. Can I change the main site (NAME etc) and drop the rest?

  Generally speaking you can follow the steps here to change the “wordpress.com” address of the site: https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/

  The site name itself (the text shown in the header) can be changed in your site settings here: https://wordpress.com/settings/
