Retrieve deleted domain

  I paid wordpress for a domain and promptly accidentally deleted it, when I was really trying to just delete the other $48/month subscription I bought at the same time.
  I tried simply renewing my domain subscription and re-using the domain name, but now its coming back as ‘unavailable’. Can I get this domain retrieved?

  Hi! When you cancel a new domain it will go into holding for a bit. Please let us know which of these options works best for you:

  Wait: You can wait about five days for the domain to be released. So long as no one else buys it before you do, you can purchase it again here or with another provider.

  Repurchase the Domain: We can send an invoice and restore the domain. You’ll be able to point it to a new host as soon as it’s restored, then transfer the registration after 60 days.

  Repurchase a Plan: To host your site here after all, buy a plan, skip the domain option, then update us here.

  Thank you for the prompt and detailed response, I appreciate it! I’ll go with the first option and just see if it becomes available again sometime this weekend.
