Retrieving a cancelled domain

  I cancelled my domain and plan however I was only meant to cancel my plan and intended on pointing my domain to another host. I am new to this – so didn’t realise I completely cancelled my domain name. Is someone able to help me retrieve it?

  Hi there,

  It has been 5 days since you canceled the domain and it has since been released by us, so we no longer have control over it.

  Thankfully, based on what whois is showing, the domain is available to be registered again.

  So, you can follow the instructions on our support page to set the domain back up with us here at WordPress.com or register it with the host where your site is located.
