retrieving cancelled domain

I just cancelled my subscription because I decided to using BlueHost hosting. Instead of transferring my domain, I cancelled it. Is there a way my domain can be retrieved or restored?

The domain is fearlesslyphillips.com, but I’ve been given a temporary domain since my domain is parked.

Cancelling a Domain isn’t recommended if you still want to be able to use it somewhere else. Now you no longer own that Domain. The correct procedure is outlined here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/
I have added the modlook tag to ask if a member of staff can assist you. Often if a Domain is cancelled within a couple of days of being set up it may be quickly released and free to be registered elsewhere. If it was cancelled weeks after creation that might not be the case and staff will have to attempt to recover it to your WordPress.com account in the first instance before you can move it elsewhere.
