Retrieving website
-
Hello,
My name is Johanne Britton and I’m working with a client of mine to grow her website back. Her name is Aisha Alfa. She had a WordPress site up until early summer this year when it ‘blew up’ and she wasn’t able to log in.
She recreated a site on Squarespace (www.aishaalfa.com) but all her content, links and SEO are still linked to the other site.
When I search, I see the link (aishaalfa.com/press) but when clicked, it obviously good to 404 not found. We are trying to gain access to her wordpress site which we believe is still in WordPress.com
Can you help us?
Thank you
Johanne
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

aishaalfa.com is hosted by Squarespace, not by wordpress.com and was purchased from Godaddy, not from through wordpress.com so we cannot help with retrieval of the domain URL

You must be logged in under the exact same username that registered the site to be able to access the site. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
Replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your blog.
If you are not logged in under that account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and then login correctly under the relevant username account.
If the login information has been lost go to

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

Yes now it is on Squarespace but the original one that was on WordPress is still there as the Google Analytics is still running and capturing data from Russian bots. I just don’t know where.
When the site broke, she just went and created a new one on Squarespace. That old site should still be on WordPress.com or .org right?
Thank you

Google Analytics cannot be run on any wordpress.com hosted site that there is no Business upgrade on and http://jjspresss.wordpress.com/ does not appear to have such any upgrade.

Hi @jjspresss , can you clarify and let me know what that other site was? We know it is not https://jjspresss.wordpress.com/ because nothing is there.
Can you send her actual address? We’ll take a look and try to point you in the right direction.
