  Hi! I accidentaly cancelled a domain registration that I actually want. I read that ‘Once a domain is canceled, there is a short window of 5 days during which time you can renew the domain at the regular price.’ So how do I do that? And, am I right that I then need to have a paid hosting plan to actually use that domain?

  Hi @oulutopianet, correct, if you’ll be using our managed hosting, you’ll want a paid plan for your domain. Which of these works best for you?

  Wait: You can wait about five days for the domain to be released. So long as no one else buys it before you do, you can purchase it again here or with another provider.

  Repurchase the Domain: We can send an invoice for the domain. Once it’s restored, it will redirect to your free site, you can connect with an upgraded plan, or you can point it to another host and transfer after 60 days.

  Purchase an Annual Plan: Since you get a free domain with an annual plan, buy the plan, skip the domain option, then update us here. We’ll re-add the domain for you.
