  Hello! I bought a domain name using WordPress.com. I want to manage it for a custom-made website now — change it’s ANAME record, create subdomains, etc. How is this possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  The domain connected to your WordPress.com account, gringobjj.com is registered through SiteGround. Are you referring to another domain?

  No, that’s the one I’m talking about. He’s 100% sure he didn’t do anything outside of wordpress.com to register the domain. Is there a way you can check this? I saw the whois information and it really is using the siteground nameservers, which is suspicious, but still…

  Hi @gringobjj, I checked again, and it is registered through SiteGround, so any DNS or ANAME record changes would have to be done through them by the domain name owner.
