Reuse old blog name

  I accidently delete my blog (nihontocollection.wordpress.com) and wanted to re-create it using the same name, however it says that the name is taken. I only did this yesterday, so the name is not taken. Is it possible to re-use the old name?

  No. You should have seen several warnings that deletions were permanent.
