Reusing cancelled domain name on another registrar/host

    Hi,

    Yesterday I purchased a personal plan and created a custom domain finismentis.com. Unfortunately the design wasn’t what I was going for and today I cancelled my plan and domain. Now I wish to use this same domain finismentis.com through another registrar/host.

    I have gone through posts on the support forum and it would seem that since I cancelled my subscription in less than 24 hours after the purchase, the domain name should be reusable in around 5 days with another registrar/host, and I don’t need to do anything more on WordPress.

    Have I understood this correctly?

    Hi there,

    You’re right. Since you have already canceled your domain and received a full refund you need to wait for 5 days for it to be fully released and available for registration again.
