Reverse WordPress.com subdomain

  I had an old WordPress.com subdomain named ‘bonggiomythuat.wordpress.com’, recently i have decided to change it into ‘bonggiotiles.wordpress.com’, however, i lose a lots of traffic from the old one. I am trying to reverse the old subdomain but it seems impossible. Do anyone has a same problem :((((.

  Hi there,

  It’s not possible to reverse an address change, no. As you deleted the old address during the process, it’s not possible to manually move your content back to the old address either.

  If you were getting a lot of traffic from search engines, you will see a temporary drop in traffic, but it should return to normal once search engines finish indexing your site at the new address.
