Reverted to WordPress Free but Lost All My Content

I received emails from WordPress saying that if I canceled my WordPress Personal plan, that I would keep my content but it would be moved to a basic, free site with a non-premium theme. Knowing that I wasn’t paying anymore, I was ok with that. But I just went to look at the free version of my site and it’s the cookie-cutter content they put on there the first time you log in to set up your site. Any idea where all my content would have gone? Really irritated if they’ve deleted it all because I worked a long time on it, I just didn’t want the premium theme anymore.

I forgot it’s 2019 now isn’t it?!? Let’s try again. https://kcwordworks.wordpress.com/ appears to be an empty site that you set up a year ago. What is the address of the WordPress.com site you have mislaid? Perhaps you have another account/username?

Oh wait I think you just led me to it! So my paid site was on a kcwordworks.net domain, but I just tried kcwordworksnet.wordpress.com and now all my content showed up! So I just imported it over to the kcwordworks.wordpress.com domain and am working on formatting now. Thank you!!
