Reverting back to original demo

I have installed a new theme and imported a demo. But, then I decided to make edits to it and it looks terrible. I want to go back to the original demo but even though I re-import the demo, the website looks the same. Any help with how I can revert back to the original template?

I would be happy to revert the theme back to its original template, but I wanted to see if you wanted to empty all site content as well? Otherwise I can reset the template without deleting content, but it may cause duplicate posts.
Please confirm if you want me to go ahead with the revert with or without emptying content.
