Reverting from Bluehost hosted site to free WordPress site

  My .wordpress.com account started 2014.
  Upgraded to a .com account (via Bluehost) in 2015.
  Always a personal, non-commercial blog.
  Now aged 66, I cannot justify the hosting fees. So, I want to revert to the free WordPress account, to which I will give a facelift.
  Is reverting to WordPress ok? Is it simple, as my .wordpress.com account still exists. And how can the old content of my Bluehost .com site be archived on my wordpress.com site.
  Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.

  https://50shadesofsun.wordpress.com/ still exists and hopefully you can access it from this WordPress.com account. You can export the content of your other site and import it to the old free site with the address that ends in .wordpress.com.
