reviving old blog posts

    I used to host a WP blog on bluehost.
    Before suspending my account, I downloaded the Public_html folder.
    Is there a way too get the folder or whatever files that would have my posts uploaded so I can read them?
    I have other WP sites I could do this with, but I don’t know which files to upload that would have the text content.

    Hi there,

    The public HTML file can be used if you have FTP access to upload the files to a new site. On WordPress.com you would have to be on the business or eCommerce plan to do that. What is the URL of the site you want to upload the files to? Please note, here we only provide assistance for sites hosted on WordPres.com. If your site is a self-hosted WordPress installation from WP.org you need to ask for help on this forum: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.

    Unfortunately you can’t do much with the public_html folder. All your posts and pages are stored in the database. Without that database you just have an empty site.
    To import your site to the wordpress.com platform, you would need the xml-file.
