Right Sidebar Problem
-
My searches haven’t found a solution. For some reason my right sidebar is now sitting sitting below all my posts (www.vasug.org) . What did I do?
Thanks for any help!

Sidebar at the bottom is typically due to bad html in one or more posts. When something like that happens, you must first click the title of each post to see which post causes the problem (in your case it’s “Welcome to VaSUG”).
Next, go to Settings>Writing, tick the option “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”, click Save Changes. Then edit the problem post (make any insignificant change, e.g. add then remove a space) and click Update Post.By the way, that post includes a lot of junk code. Copy-pasting from another application maybe?

THANK YOU!!!!!
Yes, I did copy/paste from an old web site that someone else created long ago.
I know there is a lot of junk in there but I’m not enough of a programmer to know what’s junk and what’s not. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated! -

When copying and pasting use icons number 5 or 6 in Row 2 of the Visual editor. You will get a pop-up box that you can paste the copied text into and using the pop-up will eliminate extraneous code and insert the cleaned up code into your post or page for you.
5 Paste as Plain Text
6 Paste from Word
