Robotic responses and no apparent possibility of getting genuine assistance.

    Dear WordPress – Your automated responses jumped the gun and did not give me the domain name which I chose. So I did not proceed further a that point. Since then I have received a stream of ‘donotreply’ emails that show no sign of stopping. So far I’m not impressed and am becoming rather disheartened by this robot-like treatment.

    Hi there, were you trying to register a free site or a custom domain name?

    I’m not sure what “jumped the gun” means because you have to click a button in order to create any website at all and you have the option to click the BACK link to return to the previous step. If you didn’t get the free domain you wanted, you can add another site to this account by heading to https://wordpress.com/start/

    If you don’t wish to receive emails from WordPressdotcom, you can either click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email, or change your communication preferences in your profile at https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/updates
