Root

Hi . I’m trying to create a business email account with zohomail. They require that I verify my sub-domain by creating a folder under the root of WordPress. com. Can I have access to the root of WordPress.com? Is that possible? How do I do it? Thank you in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, we don’t have access at the root level. Adding a domain email address at places like Zoho Mail is done with a custom domain like mydomain.com. You can’t set up email with a free WordPressdotcom domain address like businessblogger20.wordpress.com which is a subdomain.
Once you purchase any upgrade plan, you can purchase or map a custom domain name to your free WordPressdotcom website, you can follow this guide to setting up email https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-email/add-email-through-zoho-mail/
More on our upgrade plans at https://wordpress.com/pricing/
Hope that helps but let us know if you have any other questions about this.
