the rss feed does not work properly, If I want to add it to my xing-profile a message appears:
“The feed was found but is not accessible”
Up until last week it worked fine, so where’s the fault?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I suspect there is something amiss on xing’s side then All we can do is to provide a valid feed. If they are having trouble accessing it, that is out of our hands.
Have you contacted xing’s support team?

it seems that also with the sites using blogspot the feed does not work;
http://bonjouralsace.blogspot.de/
http://turbohausfrau.blogspot.co.at/
http://kaquushausmannskost.blogspot.de/
show the last news from 6 days ago, no information about yesterdays post.
And my professional site
schoenbuchapotheke.com
also hosted by wordpress works properly with xing. -

but how would that help with “feeding” the mail-followers, or the feeds of blogs using other than wordpress? They don’t have anything to do with xing.
-
I am not familiar with xing or what you are trying to do with it. But unless I am misunderstanding you, WordPress.com staff cannot help with those things either.
If these are WordPress.com specific issues, can you please explain them further?

The problem is, people using the rss feed are not “feeded” so to say. The feed does not send the information to the receiver, xing, blogs other than wp-blogs, or even some mail-followers don’t get notifications of new postings on my blog. So it seems to me the feed is maybe somehow faulty- as this is a new development, up until last week it worked (mostly).

I’m afraid that all we can do is send out a valid feed:
http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=https%3A%2F%2Fninivepisces.wordpress.com%2Ffeed%2F
…which yours is.
The only change to feeds in recent months has been a transition from http to https.

so, I got in contact with xing, they gave the following recommendation
<atom:link rel=”search” type=”application/opensearchdescription+xml” href=”https://ninivepisces.wordpress.com/osd.xml” title=”Ninive loves Life” />
this would improve the compatibility with more feed-readers, in their opinion.
