RSS Problems

  I subscribe to my own blog via RSS using Google Reader. Sometimes Google Reader updates immediately and sometimes it takes hours before the new posts are downloaded. It doesn’t seem to matter whether I write in advance and post on a timer or post immediately. Any idea why this would be the case?
