'Sandbox' idea

  Hello,
  I’m a relatively new user of wordpress, and am starting up a blog (actually re-starting it after a two-year hiatus). Is there any type of a ‘sandbox’ feature that would allow me to create multiple experimental websites with different themes/look/feel/functionality, at the same time so I can compare them next to each other?
