Save all content from Blog Posts
-
hi,
I’m re-designing a WP website thats a real mess (front-end & back-end) and need to ‘save all the blog posts’.
What is the best way to collect all the content (text & images) and then reapply all this content to another blog, even a tumblr.
I’m really appreciate any help
thanks in advance -
I don’t know what you are referring to. We back up by creating XML export files. Please provide an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question.

Also read > WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org as I believe you are most likely posting to the wrong support forum. This forum is only for those who have issues with free hosted WordPress.com blogs. If you are referring to WordPress.org installs you need to post to the correct support forum for that software and it’s here http://wordpress.ORG/support/

I believe she is asking the question I also need an answer to.
I used to blog on Tumblr, but now have a WordPress blog, and want to transfer all my posts over to WP, so how do I “save all posts” in a way that WP can then import it? Because it looks like I can only import OPML or XML formats.

Thanks. I use WP for my job, and I know it & like it, and it is important to me to be able to transfer my old blog over. It was easy for my friends to do, but they use LiveJournal, Thanks again!
