Save function while typimg

    When I am typing a new blog on my iPad, the save function keeps interrupting my typing every couple of words and I have to wait until the save finishes to continue typing. the cursory location also disappears and I have to tap on the screen to relocate it. It is most annoying. Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to delay the save?
