Hey there, did you mean to post in the WordPress forums for the free software?
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/These forums are specific to the sites using our managed service. We take care of maintenance, security, and support for the WordPress sites hosted on our servers, so if you’re interested, we have more information here:
For what it’s worth, I’d recommend temporarily disabling any unnecessary plugins to see if you’re having a conflict. You could also use a plugin like Healthcheck to troubleshoot, if you’re changing the password from the profile page.
Hoping that helps a bit and that you can sort it out! If not, try the correct forums. Cheers!

Hi there,
The site
cmmctraining.academyappears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on Siteground Web Hosting, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service. You can confirm here: https://gwhois.org/cmmctraining.academy+dns
To clarify, we are not the only providers of WordPress sites, and Siteground also happens to offer WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here. Because of this we are not able to help with your issue as it lies outside of our system. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ for more info.
However, the good news is that as long as you have access to the server control panel through Siteground, it is always possible to regain access to your self-hosted WordPress site. This WordPress.org Codex article will walk you through it: https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/
You can ask Siteground support for direct assistance in completing the steps in that article; they would be in the best position to help.
Hope that points you in the right direction!
