Saving of Draft Failed

I am unable to save my drafts. I get an error “Saving of Draft failed”. This is happening for past two days. As per advice on various forums, I have tried all the following – to no avail!

1. Logged out and logged in again
2. Changed browser (from chrome to mozilla)
3. restarted my machine

Nothing works. I still have that issue. Please help, really want to release this blog today, having missed releasing it yesterday for the same issue.

Yes i am very badly affected by this for last two days. Not able to work on my blogs at all.

I also experience the same problem about 5 days now.
I cannot add new post, update existing posts.
My site is https://ai2thunk.wordpress.com/

Try several advice, but cannot solve the problem.
– Logout and Login again
– Close Browser and re-open
– restart computer.

By the way, I can use WordPress App on Andriod to update post.

Pls help.

Will all members posting into this thread please provide this specific information for Staff:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which operating system, browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/

The problem is on the desktop.
Mobile app works fine. I can publish new post and update my post from mobile app.

Problem was on the desktop, the issue is resolved.

I still cannot create new post, edit post on desktop.

Thing is getting worse.
– Cannot add new media.
– Cannot acces all existing media.

@eworldmag this sounds like a connectivity issue (dropped packets, etc.)

Usually these problems resolve themselves as ISPs take care of whatever issues they’ve got. If it’s ongoing though I would (if possible) try another connection and if that does better, contact your ISP.

I dont think it is connection issue. Other web site work fine. Using wordpress mobile app via wifi on the same connection work fine.

I have just installed Firefox.
It works fine with Firefox and Safari.
and still have problem with Chrome (Version 63.0.3239.108 (Official Build) (64-bit)).

Thanks @eworldmag. If you’re willing, try going to chrome://settings/siteData and clearing the local data for WordPress.com to see if that helps.
