Screenshot of new post

When I write a new post, I’d like to:

    1. send a screenshot of it by email to my subscriber list, with the appearance of the post itself i.e. masthead & fonts & colors

    2. Insert a “Subscribe” link at the bottom of the email, by which a recipient could add themselves to the subscriber list. So if my subscribers forward an email, the new reader could easily subscribe.

I have been unable to achieve #1. Clipboard pasting preserves only the text. Must I perhaps get a graphics program? I saw a reference to that in WordPress Support section, under “Making a screenshot”.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What you are describing is elaborate. What’s available is enabling subscriptions on your blog. Your subscribers choose how frequently they wish to receive your emailed posts. They subscribe via a Blog subscription widget you place in the sidebar. You enter enter a message to display to those who click the subscribe button.

Every email client is different and every email user can set their email up differently. The emails of your posts are sent out in a format that works well with most email clients. Some will display full graphics and videos and others may not.
