search bar disappears

    hi, When working on my site in wordpress editor I can add a search bar to the top of my pages. When I go to work on my site in bluehost then save, the search bars disappear. I need help to make sure my changes are not lost. Is it possible to work on the site both in wordpress and bluehost?

    The site I need help with is thinkingdisciples.org. It is not hosted by WordPress.com, but it is connected with Jetpack. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

    You can definitely run your own copy of WordPress at Bluehost if you’d like! Our services here are a bit different:
    https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

    Depending on where you’re changing it, you might try contacting Bluehost first to see if they can spot the issue, then contacting your theme support, then working with your host to troubleshoot. If you still need help, I’d recommend searching or reaching out in the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ — those are the right forums for self-managed WordPress sites.
