  I have manually deleted my media files on WordPress but they are still visible on search engines. For some reason, I need to delete some of my contents to start over but I am afraid I can no longer control the content visible on search engines.

  Hi,

  Search engines update their results regularly. But there is no timeline for when it happens and we can’t do anything to speed them up, I’m afraid. I would put it out of your mind and work on updating the other aspects of your site. Google/Bing/etc will catch up eventually.
