I wonder if anyone can help. I have been designing websites for several years and currently thinking of moving my site to a DIVI and rebuilding them.
I would like to add more functionality and a drop-down menu (form) linked to tags and categories which directs the search to a specific page or post.
The following site has the exact functionality I am looking for https://www.alivenetwork.com
The form is found over a cover image at the top of the page under Find your perfect entertainment.
I know this site is build using ASP.Net but i was sure this would be possible on WordPress. However, after searching for days i have found no plugins or even topics of how this might be achieved. Can anyone give me any advice? Thank you

Hi Tim,
Something like that can definitely be built using WordPress, but I cannot tell you what theme and plugins to use to make it. It will very likely require some custom work as well.
That said, you might be able to get some pointers from the WordPress.org community over at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ – they are the people who make the open source WordPress software, its themes, and its plugins.
The forum you’ve posted to now, is for free sites hosted on the WordPress.com hosting platform. Owners of free sites on WordPress.com cannot even use plugins, and most don’t know anything about web development or programming, so we don’t have the expertise to help you with something like you’re looking for here.
