  The search widget is returning results for an entire page instead of the search criteria entered.

  The site I need help with is kogerdatabase.wordpress.com.

  Hi there,

  I’m not sure I understood your question. To clarify you are trying to have a more “Google-like” search interface? One where the keyword/keywords are highlighted in the search results?

  If so this is not built into WordPress.com but can be added by upgrading to Jetpack Search: https://wordpress.com/support/jetpack-search/

  Hmm… maybe I need to switch to Wix because they have a Google-like search interface. But thanks for the response.
