Searching on google or bing etc

  Hi this maybe a really dumb question but I can not find my weblog when I type the name into my google search bar. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong please.

  WordPress.com automatically sends notifications to Google and other search engines with every post and page update. The search engines can take 4-6 weeks or more to add any new sites.   You can control whether or not search engines index your site in your Privacy Settings in your dashboard at Settings > Privacy Settings.
